Lies flat and the paper feels right

"’ve been using this High Quality Paper Open-Flat Lined Notebook for daily notes and it’s exactly what I wanted. It opens fully flat, so writing near the spine is easy and the pages don’t fight you. The paper is smooth, takes pen well, and doesn’t show much bleed-through. The plain dark cover looks clean and holds up in a bag. Simple, well made, and useful every day. I’d buy it again."

    It’s great

"I love it. Very flat, high quality paper. Paper feels a tiny bit glossy, I prefer a slightly porous feel so it doesn’t streak. Very smooth if you’re into that. Also the size is perfect for notes and journaling."

    — Olivia J. (4/5)

my first fountain pen specific notebook

"it is a very good paper in my opinion. the first page was bound a little differently than the rest of the pages. mostly a minor inconvenience."

    — Travis F. (4/5)

    5/5

"The open-flat binding is exceptional — it lays perfectly flat and makes writing across spreads effortless. The paper quality is equally impressive: smooth, substantial, and resistant to bleed-through, even with gel ink. Every detail feels intentional. Its minimalist design reflects MUJI’s philosophy beautifully — understated, functional, and quietly refined."
